MacDonald and Annabelle Van Dorn writing collectively as A.M. Van Dorn bonded during their courtship over old character driven western television series of the 1960s. Mac enjoy plotting that old west adventures for the wilde sisters while Annabelle spins their family drama and delights in writing their juicy encounters.
When they decided to collaborate, they knew it was time to set the genre on its ear. Why should only cowboys be able to save the day, get the girl and ride off into the sunset with nary a look back? Putting the shoe on the other foot the Wilde sisters were born.
The Van Dorns enjoy crafting stories of the long ago west from their home nestled on the banks of the lush Hudson River vally.
